The staff was amazing and so welcoming, they make a huge effort to include their guests in activities and connection and cater to make your experience as best as can be. The property is at a great location very central of a lot of things in Ubud and almost everything is walking distance. They have security at the front of the hostel at night to ensure all guests are safe. The amenities that are included in this hostel are completely worth the price. This hostel was a great decision and I met a ton of amazing people along the way, will definitely return the next time I’m in Bali.

I am not a big fan of temples, and besides, everywhere you look in Ubud, there is a temple, and they all look the same. So, I spent my time mostly doing activities. I highly recommend visiting Alas Harum at 7 a.m. to beat all the queues, doing ATV and rafting, visiting the monkey forest early in the morning (it opens at 8 a.m.), and walking around the city at night. Ubud city is most beautiful at night.

Many beautiful places and sightseeings, but the place is just overcrowded, overpriced and the traffic is absolutely insane. We were staying only 3 nights and it was enough. If knew it I would choose more quiet location.

The experience in Ubud is very different depending on which...
The experience in Ubud is very different depending on which part of Ubud you are staying. Central Ubud has many places to visit like Monkey Forest or walking around between rice fields. Outside the centre of Ubud, you have waterfalls and quiet places to stay.
The hotel is located very close to the center of Ubud and basically it’s inside the Monkey forest. Throughout the day the hotel is home also to the monkeys that come and go as they please and they are a very happy sight. The Villa is very big and nice with a wonderful private pool. The Villa might need a furniture revamp but it’s fine, it has everything you need and more! The restaurant is very good and they have a great variation of choices.
The location of this hotel is ideal --walkable rating of 75+ and it is located near some of the best shopping and restaurants in Ubud -- however it is set back from the street a little bit and provides a quiet oasis when the main road is busy. Also the staff...bent over backwards to find ways to fix even the tiniest things...I appreciate the attention to detail and their listening ear!
Amazing hosts and the place is amazing right next to the rice fields and close to all the attractions.
You wont get better service or ambience at 5 star hotels.
The breakfast is amazing.
The pool is lush.
Really enjoyed the outdoor bath carved out of stone.
This place is heavenly and such a good price, so cheap for what you get.
Throughly reccomend and that's rare for me
The best you can stay in Ubud area. The breakfast is excellent and covers all tastes. The staff is polite and willing to serve you. The facilities are around the mountain and the river in the nature. The spa and the team are experts. We stayed two people in the villa with private pool and mountain view. I highly recommend it! Thanks for the perfect stay Royal Pita Maha !
Staff is amazing, so kind and helpful. Puspita helped me with excursions and advised best places in Ubud.
Also the garden is so beautiful, very green and with animals, fish and birds. They have own temple as well. Hotel is ruled by Family that's why you can feel very cozy.
Of course Nyoman Liyer is the best🙏🏼
Thank you very much again, I will come back for sure🤍
Best villa for value ever. The villa was so nice we stayed at home instead of doing the tours we planned around Ubud.
Amazing view from the Villa, you look out on the rice terrace and the garden has very pretty plants and flowers. The private pool is really nice as well. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The bed is good too, we slept like babies.
This is one of the best villas I've been to and it's second time for me in Bali and I've been to many different villas and hotels here. The price is great, breakfasts are the best and the staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Can't recommend them enough, would leave a higher score if I could. They also take care of animals and environment! :)
lovely place outside ubud in the middle of the Jungle. we stayed in the villa with private pool, which may be the smallest of all but you will be all by yourselves when you go for a swim. at night you hear nothing nur the noises of the jungle.
the hotel staff is the nicest we‘ve ever met.
food not haute cuisine but absolutely fine.
The hotel is extremely beautiful, staff is so kind and they immerse you in Balinese culture, place is worth to stay at least 3 nights. Private villa are the best of the hotel We had floating breakfast, a bit expensive but is a nice experience. Location is really good as well, close to ubud central but far from noise and crowds.
Gorgeous villa with private pool ❤️
W
The staff were delightful. We walked around the local streets and found some wonderful little restaurants that were SO delicious! Shout out to Cafe Vespa!! Best dragon fruit and banana smoothie!
We loved the location of Villa Nirvana.. in a village just on the edge of busy Ubud x
This is the best place we’ve been on Bali. Just at the outskirts of Ubud. We had the family villa with private pool. Putu helped us with everything we needed or responded quick, and the breakfasts were a gem every morning.
Instead of some villas this one is just off the main road, making the traffic noise less.
The receptionist was extremely helpful and efficient by booking us scooters and arranging us a last minute fast boat to Lombok. The quietest hotel we’ve been to with only a few villas and lots of privacy. Really beautiful and had a big private pool. Small but sufficient breakfast is served in the room.
This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at, including fancy, expensive 5 stars hotel - room, location, food, everything was perfect. The staff is what really made our stay: I have never received such attentive, friendly, personalised service.
Fabulous location, we moved from a villa quite far from Downtown Ubud, to this hotel which is in a great location.
Staff are all amazing, so friendly and accommodating, who all obviously love their jobs.
I booked this stay last minute after not liking my previous hotel. Arya is an amazing hotel! i loved everything about it and look forward to staying again. This is one of the best hotels in Ubud!
Pros:
Walking distance to Ubud main market.
Near restaurants, cafes, and other shops.
Property owners are very good and caring.
Price is very affordable compared to other big hotels in Ubud.
Beautiful views over the rice fields, the staff, and the lovely villas with private pools. There was also a pathway that was along the rice fields that led to the center of Ubud.
The location is in the heart of Ubud, the room is clean, the breakfast is good. The price for one night is really cheap, but hey it’s a homestay that feels like a hotel.
